    BS&K's Upstate New York salary and benefit programs are among the most attractive offered by Northeast law firms. The firm's salary and benefits in other offices similarly compare favorably with those of other firms in those geographic areas.

    In 2009, third year law students starting with the firm in Upstate New York will be paid an annual salary of $85,000. In addition to this salary, they will receive a $5,000 payment to assist with relocation and/or bar review expenses. Second year law students joining us for the 2009 summer will be paid a salary of $1,600 per week, plus a $1,000 bonus payment in the spring.

    Along with a competitive salary, our attorneys can participate in comprehensive health, dental and vision plans plus an extensive wellness plan. In addition, the firm provides group term life insurance, disability insurance, a pension program, a flexible spending program, paid bar association dues, subsidized parking and an optional 401(k) program. The firm maintains policies for child-rearing leave and other alternative employment arrangements.
