John S. Ho To Serve As Panel Member at NAPABA's Regional Conference June 11-12
John S. Ho, a member and resident in the Firm's New York City office, is serving as a panel member at the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association's Northeast Regional Conference held on June 11-12 in New Brunswick, New Jersey at the Heldrich Hotel. John will be serving on the panel, Navigating Your First Years of Practice.
The panel will explore how new attorneys should go about building good reputations for themselves early on in their careers. By doing so, not only do new attorneys develop their professional skills, but they also increase their chances of advancement. But now more than ever, new attorneys are striving to stand out from the crowd, with both advancement and job security in mind. How can new attorneys distinguish themselves from their colleagues? Is "doing good work" enough? Or are billable hours and face time unspoken requirements? Are there different unwritten rules in the public sector? Established practitioners who have been there before and new attorneys who are there now will discuss these and related issues.
